Skinimalism: Better Products, Fewer Products. why you need fewer skincare products

Skinimalism: Combining Proven Anti-Aging Technology Into Fewer Products

At Benir we've been involved in the skincare industry for over 30 years and we've seen many fads and brands come and go. We have always held to the same philosophy when we're formulating our products, "better formulations and fewer products." Recently the beauty industry has labelled this "skinimalism."

When you combine only PROVEN skincare ingredients into well formulated skincare products, and in amounts that can make a difference, you're providing more than just marketing...you're providing real results. If you have "mature skin" this is a top concern.

When you reduce the number of products, you also remove the possibility of skin issues that arise from overusing too many products (or the wrong products).

What makes our VITAE Skin Renewal Complex so amazing? Let's start with a few of the proven actives you'll find in the formulation.

MATRIXYL 3000

Matrixyl 3000® is a peptide complex developed by the cosmetic ingredient manufacturer Sederma. It consists of two peptides, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 and palmitoyl tripeptide-1, and it is used in many anti-aging skincare products due to its ability to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Matrixyl 3000 works by stimulating collagen production in the skin. Collagen is a protein that gives skin its structure and elasticity, and it naturally declines with age. By boosting collagen production, Matrixyl 3000 can help to improve skin texture, firmness, and smoothness, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

Studies have shown that Matrixyl 3000 can help to reduce the depth of wrinkles by up to 45% and improve skin tone by up to 18%. It has also been found to have a positive effect on skin hydration and elasticity. It is generally suitable for all skin types.

4D HYALURONIC ACID

4D Hyaluronic Acid is a new form of hyaluronic acid that is designed to provide longer-lasting hydration and penetrate deeper into the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the skin that helps to maintain moisture levels and keep the skin looking plump and youthful.

Traditional hyaluronic acid has a larger molecular weight, which means that it can only penetrate the outer layer of the skin and provides only temporary hydration. 4D Hyaluronic Acid, on the other hand, has a smaller molecular weight and a 4-dimensional structure that allows it to penetrate deeper into the skin and provide longer-lasting hydration.

The 4D structure of this hyaluronic acid is designed to mimic the structure of the natural hyaluronic acid found in the skin, which makes it more effective in maintaining the skin's moisture levels. It works by attracting water to the skin and locking it in, which helps to plump up the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

GHK-CU TRIPEPTIDE

GHK-Cu is a copper peptide that is derived from the amino acids glycine, histidine, and lysine. It has been found to have many benefits for the skin, including anti-aging and wound-healing properties.

GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring peptide in the body, but its levels decrease as we age. It has been shown to stimulate the production of collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) in the skin. These are all important components of healthy, youthful-looking skin that help to maintain its structure and elasticity.

In addition to its anti-aging properties, GHK-Cu has been found to have wound-healing properties. It has been shown to promote the migration of skin cells and increase the production of growth factors that are involved in the healing process.

COENZYME Q10

Coenzyme Q10, also known as CoQ10 or ubiquinone, is a naturally occurring antioxidant found in the body. It is involved in the production of ATP, which is the primary source of energy for the body's cells.

CoQ10 has been found to have many benefits for the skin, including anti-aging properties. As we age, the levels of CoQ10 in our skin naturally decrease, which can lead to a decrease in collagen production and an increase in free radical damage. CoQ10 helps to combat this by neutralizing free radicals and supporting collagen production, which can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

In addition to its anti-aging properties, CoQ10 has also been found to have anti-inflammatory effects, which can be beneficial for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. It has also been shown to have a positive effect on skin hydration and elasticity.
