In some instances, mild redness may occur due to the stimulation of the skin (we call it the "bee sting effect") which is a blood flow response to the active ingredients. This should generally resolve within 10-20 minutes. After 3-4 days of use, skin should adapt, and redness will no longer present with use. Redness may be more pronounced after an exfoliation prior to use. If redness is a concern, Vitae can be used exclusively as a powerful nighttime healthy aging product.
